Job Summary

Subtext is seeking an enthusiastic, career minded student or recent graduate to join our team in St. Louis, MO. Our paid internship offers students the opportunity to learn and be mentored in the real estate development industry. As a Project Manager Intern, you will assist with providing strategic planning, project management and financial oversight in new build student housing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform routine aspects of assigned projects under close supervision, following established procedures.
  • Prepare and process client requested data or documents that are compliant with contract terms and specific needs.
  • Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
  • Assist in the coordination of projects from conception through final plan preparations to ensure all development risks are identified and quantified.
  • Oversee scheduling of work in line with the company goal and objectives.
  • Assist the development team through the detailed design phase of the projects, ensuring strict adherence to specifications and attention to cost management.

Requirements

  • Current graduate or undergraduate student of Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related degree is required.
  • Junior standing or higher.
  • Attention to detail and ability to exercise good professional judgement is required.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization regarding project activity is required.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and requires limited supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, results-focused, and ethical.
  • Strong technology skills; proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe/Bluebeam.
