Subtext is seeking an enthusiastic, career-minded student or recent graduate to join our team in St. Louis, MO. Our paid summer internship offers students the opportunity to learn, gain experience, and be mentored in the real estate development industry. The Development Analyst Intern will complete various tasks and projects related to the execution of development strategy by assisting in all facets and activities related to new development projects.

Assist team with assessing potential markets through high level market diligence.

Conduct detailed market and project due diligence to determine project feasibility.

Assist the Development Manager and Director of Real Estate as needed with the entitlement process including zoning, permits, approvals, and licenses.

Assist with the development of schedules, budgets, and programing.

Assist in the coordination of all required documentation for lenders and equity partners regarding development.

Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach.

Work closely and effectively with the Acquisitions & Development team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

Current graduate or undergraduate student of Business, Finance/Economics, Real Estate Development, Law, or related degree is required.

Junior standing or higher.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
